What do I need to do?

We can come to you or you can come to our office. We look at your vehicle, take it for a short test drive, and give you a written offer, which you can either accept or not. There is no obligation, and our service is always free.

How long is your quote good for?

Our quote is good for 10 days or 400 miles.

What if there is a lien holder on my title?

We may still be able to purchase your vehicle. Be sure to obtain a payoff quote from all lien holders, and we'll give you a check for the amount between what is owed and the amount we appraise your vehicle at, meaning your equity. We will also pay your lien holder directly and take care of all the paperwork, so you don't have to!

What if the title is in more than just my name?

We will need the permission from other listed owners before we can purchase your vehicle. This can easily be accomplished when you obtain a power of attorney from others listed on the title, or they must be present at the time we complete the transaction.

What if I have more than one car?

We often purchase two or more cars from individuals using the same process for each one. We also purchase company fleet vehicles, giving you a simple solution and the best value for your money and time.

How am I paid for my vehicle?

We pay you on our company check from a local bank (you can use our phone to contact and verify funds if you like), or, if you prefer, we can obtain a certified check.

What documents do I need to bring with me?

You will need your title or a payoff statement from any/all lien holders. If there are other owners listed, you will also need the appropriate documents for their authorization. Also, bring a photo ID, the vehicle registration, and all keys and remotes for the car.

What if the registration is expired?

Your registration doesn't need to be current to sell us your vehicle.

Do you only buy newer vehicles?

We generally are able to purchase vehicles not older than 12 or 13 years and that have fewer than 150,000 miles. There are some exceptions, so it is in your best interest to either call or e-mail us for your quote.

What areas do you service?

At this time, we will travel anywhere between the Baltimore area down to the northern Virginia area, including the Washington DC metropolitan area. If you live outside these areas, you can always come to us, and if we purchase your car, we'll give you a free $50 gas check to make it worth your while!
